Pale, bright straw-yellow. Intense, mineral- and floral-accented aromas of pear, tangerine and fennel, with a hint of fresh citrus fruit in the background. Juicy and precise, offering dainty but vibrant citrus, orchard stone fruit and mineral flavors, plus a hint of honey in the background. Finishes bright and long, with outstanding clarity and cut. As with most wines from Casale del Giglio, this absolutely lovely white wine delivers serious bang for the buck.
