Alois Trebulanum 2012

Wine Advocate: 90+pts

Casavecchia is another indigenous grape on the rise in the Caserta area of Campania. The 2012 Casavecchia Trebulanum sports dense and bold saturation with rich concentration. The grape is expressive and bold in terms of its aromatic profile. It delivers soft tannins with a bright point of acidity on the close. All of these characteristics line up to form a wine that would pair perfectly with pasta and Parmigiano cheese.
