Tequila Águila Superior is produced at the legendary Tequila Cascahuín Distillery in the Valle region of Jalisco. The Cascahuin Distillery was established in 1904 from the vision of their founder, Salvador Rosales Briseno. Today, that tradition continues as his great grandson, Salvador Rosales Trejo, is the Maestro Tequilero for Tequila Águila Superior.

The distillery is located in El Arenal, Jalisco, right in the center of the lowlands area, and at the beginning to the Ruta de Tequila. Águila Superior is made with 100% Blue Weber agave plants grown in the dark volcanic soils of El Arenal. The Blue agave plants are grown for 8 years, allowing the distillery to control the end-to-end quality of the Tequila.

For every pure liter of Tequila Águila Superior, 8 Kilograms of agave hearts, called piña, are used. Each piña is cooked in masonry ovens, as the ancestral tradition demands. This is a slow, demanding process which can take up to 48 hours to complete.

Tequila Águila Superior hand-crafted products are the ultimate expression and modern vision of one of the most prestigious Tequileros and distilleries in Mexico
