Pietranera Brunello di Montalcino 2014

James Suckling: 92pts

This shows some nicely rich notes of black cherries, dark chocolate, cedar, brambleberries, blueberry pie, hazelnuts and even some treacle. Full body, chewy tannins and a finish that’s quite long, especially considering the vintage conditions. Drink in 2020.
