Montalbera Ruchè Laccento 2015

International Wine            Report: 92pts

The 2015 Ruché from Montalbera bursts open with fresh, inviting aromas of red cherries and sweet plums woven together with sweet spices, licorice, lavender nuances which all coming together in the glass. On the palate this is well balanced with a lovely round and polished texture, with a mouthful of juicy sweet red fruits and exotic spices, which linger on the fresh finish. This is showing wonderful today and it should be interesting to watch it evolve over the next few years. (Best 2017-2023) - March 2017 (JD)

Luca Maroni: 99pts

This wine is the essential expression of the profusion in the sky. Due to its grape, in its native purity, and its extraordinary aroma. Moreover, we can understand the quality of vineyard cultivation and the harvest maturity. We can know the respect and the attention for its final aroma: strawberry, violet and blackberry. This wine is an archetype with a perfect texture, balance and entirety. The aroma of the fruit is ascribable at the most deep essence of nature, senses and soul.
