The 2014 Riesling Pfenningberg 1ÖTW has a very pale citrus color with a greenish shimmer; it opens very pure and precise on the nose, offering refined and crystalline fruit flavors. Very salty, fresh and mineral on the palate, this elegant and crystalline Riesling is really piquant and reveals a great finesse and purity. The finish is salty and displays refreshing lemon and grapefruit aromas in the aftertaste. Very stimulating and salivating. A lovely Riesling. Stephan Reinhardt, Apr 2016
