For more than 26 years, Fernando Candelario has crafted standout Napa Valley wines. Inspired by his passion for 100% varietal wines, he founded Voces Cellars in 2002, focusing on small-lot, locally sourced releases.
Before launching Voces, Candelario spent eight years in the cellar at Robert Mondavi Winery and later became cellar master at T-Vine Cellars with acclaimed winemaker Greg Brown. Trusted as Brown’s sole cellar hire, he helped produce 4,200 cases annually of highly praised old-vine wines, even featured at a 2001 presidential dinner.
Voces Cellars represents Candelario’s longtime dedication to Napa winemaking. He oversees every step, aging wines in American and French oak for 12–18 months and often cellaring them an additional 2–4 years. All Voces wines are 100% single varietal, reflecting the purity of Napa Valley’s terroir—an expression of Candelario’s craft and way of life.
