This small family winery has been producing wine for three generations. Marco Mosconi took over the family vineyards in 2006, his passion for music and culture influencing his approach to winemaking. Located in the beautiful Illasi Valley and surrounded by rolling hills adorned with vineyards, olive groves, and cherry trees, the special microclimate has afforded Marco the perfect terroir to make elegant, balanced and vibrant wines.

Marco likes to work naturally, with a philosophy of fostering harmony between his land and the process of making the wines. Everything is done with a respect and understanding of natural cycles and little is forced in the cellar. Indigenous yeasts are relied upon for the fermentations and the wines arrive to their finished state on their own timelines. In the vineyards, a system of agriculture that respects the balance of life, fostering the presence of insects, plants and microorganisms among the vines which bring health and balance. Working within the Valpolicella and Soave zones, Marco also makes some wines that do not necessarily follow the rules. At the root of the estate and Marco’s wines is a story of a Marco himself, trained as a musician with a love for his territory, bountiful with history, art and culture.
