Jerome Arnoux was born in Montigny-les-Arsures, the first wine-growing village in the Jura, famous for its famous local grape "Trousseau". He spent his Wednesdays at a neighbor's winemaker's, who used to repeat to him: "Jérôme, later you will be a winemaker! ". Self-taught, at 17 years old, he began the real work of the vineyard and cellar, for more than 20 years, as an employee in different vineyards in Arbois. This allowed Jerome to acquire a real knowledge of Jura grape varieties, both on the terroir and on the development of different vintages.

Today, as manager of the Cellier des Tiercelines, he selects grapes from beautiful Jurassian terroirs to develop his own wines. These grapes are mainly coming from my own vineyard with A.O.C Arbois. The vines are grown without pesticide or insecticide, only with contact products (low- dose copper and sulfur) and an organic fertilizer supplies once a year at the end of winter. The plots are grassed and mowed in the middle of the row which develops life into the ground, avoids gully problems and allows to stabilize the yields around 35 hl /ha.

Concerned with the quality and in a total respect of the products, the wines are fermented only with the natural yeasts present on the skin of the grapes, they are not glued, with light filtration and elaborated with a minimum of sulfur.
