Tucked away in the village of Magny-lès-Villers, at the crossroads of the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, Domaine Cornu offers a unique perspective on Burgundy’s diversity. This fourth-generation family estate farms around 20 hectares across a wide range of appellations, from regional wines to premier and grand crus.

Alexandre’s parents spent years at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti before returning to the family estate, bringing with them invaluable experience that helped expand the domaine and elevate the quality of the wines. Now led by Alexandre Cornu, the estate strikes a thoughtful balance between tradition and modern precision. The vineyards are farmed with respect for the environment through organic fertilization, and a strong emphasis on manual work to preserve soil health. In the cellar, winemaking follows a classic Burgundian approach—traditional fermentations, partial aging in oak depending on the cuvée and vintage, and meticulous bottling at the estate to ensure quality at every stage.

Chardonnay and Pinot Noir take center stage, crafted into wines that range from fresh and approachable to structured, cellar-worthy cuvées. Each bottle reflects a clear sense of place, capturing the authenticity and nuance of Burgundy’s terroirs with both precision and ease.
