Wine Enthusiast: 95pts - Cellar Selection
Intense, lovely aromatics of wild berry, fragrant blue flower, crushed herb and a whiff of tilled soil lead the way. On the powerful palate, youthfully assertive but refined tannins frame layers of crushed black cherry, blackberry, mint and ground pepper while a licorice note closes the lingering finish. Boasting structure and finesse, it shows surprising aging potential for the vintage. Drink 2020–2031.
International Wine Report: 94pts
The 2011 is another gorgeous Brunello from Lisini. As this slowly opens it begins to release aromas of dried cherries red berries woven together with rose petals and earthy minerals which all come together beautifully. On the palate this displays excellent overall balance and finesse with a refined silky texture leading to a finish laced with flavors of red berries and tobacco. The 2011 will be accessible early, yet shows wonderful aging potential as well. (Best 2016-2030) - Feb, 2016 (JD)

A big, fruity style of Brunello with spice, mineral, dried mushroom and ripe fruit. Full body, velvety tannins and a bright finish. Intense but contained with tension. Nice follow-up to 2010. Better in 2017. Feb 2016
