Château Grand Boise’s vineyard is planted on the slopes and terraces of the premium sub-appellation of Sainte Victoire Cotes de Provence. The vineyards are spread across 400 hectares of forest and 30 hectares of vines composed of over 80 different plots. The richness of Grand Boise is due to its unique terroir, a combination of a cooler continental climate in Cotes de Provence, stonier soil and 350m vertical drop. The vines are grown in parcels and terrasses from an altitude of 320 meters at the entrance of the domain, and 650 meters at the summit, where the brunet plot lies. The soil is composed of clay, pink marble and limestone. This particular terroir gives this exceptional style of Grand Boise wines, and brings freshness, depth and complexity to our wines, which are all made from organic grapes. The wines are certified by the USDA and NOP Organic.
