Keller Estate is located at the entrance to Sonoma, close to the beautiful town of Petaluma. Arturo Keller and his wife Deborah first fell in love with this area while meandering Sonoma roads and selected the property for its potential as an exceptional family vineyard.  The beauty, setting, and history of the land influenced their decision to make it home.

In 1989, they planted the first Chardonnay vines, and the "La Cruz" vineyard was born. Arturo and Deborah proudly sold their first vintage to Rombauer Vineyards, exciting them about the potential of their site. By 1999, they planted a few acres of Pinot Noir and began planning for bottling their own wines. Ana Keller, a biochemist by training, joined the team in 1998, and in 2000, the Keller Estate label became a reality. Shortly after, they built their family winery designed specifically for gravity-fed winemaking. Today the 91-acre vineyard is farmed organically.

Ana Keller's passion has established Keller Estate as a benchmark for producing some of the best wines in the Sonoma Coast. Her dedication has been instrumental in establishing the Petaluma Gap AVA to further an understanding of this region and promote the wines of this region worldwide.
